It is hard for most of us to move through unknown social waters with ease, and making small talk can really help us.

Therefore being proficient in small-talk, and engaging in chit-chat is very much about facilitating communication with the aim of ensuring the virtue of wellbeing is evident, and for that, a person has to be talkative.Īs it is all too easy, to dismiss social conversation (aka chit-chat) as the type of small talk that is inconsequential, when in fact, it’s an essential part of day-to-day communication, which can add real value to our relationships and including with our customers.
